Bob Dylan, once used to play acoustic guitar. It was extraordinary for many years when he appeared on stage with an electric guitar in his hands. The comments came at once and he made the front pages of major newspapers. Many of his fans saw an electric guitar as an instrument to play music rock at full volume. Bob Dylan did not care and did his magic on an electric guitar.
Blues music is a little different. The first notes were played blues in acoustic blues guitar, but even the old blues musicians took the electric guitar. I think it's a sad story, because the acoustic Blues Guitar produced some great blues music.
Back in Chicago in the 1930s or so there was a movement that is growing. People were excited when blues musicians of the Mississippi Delta area taken their music to the streets and cafes in Chicago. Muddy Waters and Son House were big stars in Chicago and they were playing acoustic blues guitar until people are just going wild.
Acoustic guitar blues became unpopular, when people like Howling Wolf arrived and replaced his acoustic guitar for an electric guitar. Wolf and other artists began recording blues hits from classic guitar acoustic guitar electricity and was the music that came to people. Soon Son House and other relics and Robert Johnson and the famous photo of him and his acoustic guitar blues became a treasure pieces of the past.
Jimi brought back for a while
For many years, the electric guitar Jimi Blues ruled the world Hendrix and then decided to record a short film of himself playing an acoustic guitar blues and a little time we come to know as close as the modern equivalent of the old classics that we will listen. As Jimi fired through this My Train A Comin 'was like being in the delta near the turn of the century, when Robert Johnson to travel with a small bar to small bar just to make a living playing his guitar. It was a good time to be lost forever.
The acoustic guitar takes in due time to time in the blues and rock records, but never be a primary instrument, as it used to be all those years ago. The sound may be confused and music was right from the heart and never hear music played like that again.
