are inkjet cartridges remanufactured good?
I found these Remanufactured ink cartridges at staples.com and say on the page ink performance is supposed to be within 5% of brand-name cartridges. I do not know how true this statement is because I have never used remanufactured ink cartridges before. Has anyone had any exeperience with these, especially black cartridges? My printer needs a new black ink cartridge, and I'm trying to find cheaper the cartridges are still as good as or comparable to the brand. My printer is a Lexmark P3150 all in one machine, if that helps anyone.
Remanufactured Ink Cartridges are a big no-no. Think of the word "refurbished". Outside the ink manufacturers of the brand since the ink cartridges are used while the cartridges should only be used once. People who buy refilled cartridges often report that leakage of ink. This ruin a printer. "They have less ink – the quality is poor – The cartridges are 33 times more likely to fail, "void the warranty of the printer There is a reason refilled cartridges are cheaper. It's because they use ink of very low quality in their cartridges. Although the ink manufacturer is a few dollars more, the quality is much higher. A lot of research and development goes manufacturer original ink, thus providing benefits such as photos, waterproof, fade resistance, and more dots per inch. Moreover, cheap refilled cartridges, void the warranty of your printer. I have an HP printer and I always buy HP ink. I've never once had a problem with my HP ink cartridges (HP says that its failure rate cartridge is 2%, meaning 98% of their cartridges will work fine). Refilled cartridges are said to be 35 times more likely to fail, the ruin of the printer, or give to poor results (which is 70% failure rate, failure to refer to anyone unrecognizable cartridges, leaking cartridges, print quality very poor, etc.). In the long run, is actually cheaper to buy the original manufacturer's ink when one considers that with refilled cartridges that: (1) receives less ink, (2) may have to print documents or photos, because the first attempt was of poor quality (3) can completely ruin the printer that you have to buy a new oneand (4) wasted due to the ink cartridge leaks. I've included some links that talk about the evils of reusing cartridges.
