If your computer runs slower and slower, what do you do? Normally, besides using the anti-virus software, defragmentation is also a good choice. However, some users may have encountered many problems during the defragmentation of disks. It's really annoying because you want to speed up your computer, but only find that defragmentation can not work.
So in this article, I'd like to share my methods for solving the problems of defragmentation. If defragmentation can not continue working while running only a small part of it and then start over again and again, this is the item to be read in order to complete the task of defragmentation.
In general, under such circumstances, first check whether there have been closed screensaver control power and anti-virus software or not. It is a duty to close them before you defragment the disk. You can do so by following the steps below.
Click on the blank desktop to select "Properties" in "Display Properties", you must click "Screen Saver" and set "None" in this tab. And if there are any other screen protection program, please remember to close all of them. On the same tab, there is no "power of the monitor", click "Power". In "Power Options Properties", you should choose "No" to "Disable Hard Disk" and "System Standby "Respectively.
In addition, some anti-virus software can interfere with the defragmentation of disks, while others can not. If you have closed guard screen and monitor power, but still have trouble with this problem, you can try to disable anti-virus software and try to defragment again. Just keep in mind that any read-write operation in the defragmentation process may result in the initiation of defragmentation and again.
