Portable E-book PDF reader?
I have an extensive library on my PC at home most of the books are in PDF format and some are in Microsoft Reader. I Love to have something to carry around to read them. Ive read some reviews on the Kindle and Sony Reader, but not sure which one has the I'm looking for. I have a few hundred books in PDF format and I'd like to read more comfortably in place on the desktop computer. I'm looking for a laptop or something with a small screen of a cell, I want something the size of a book:) Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
EBook Readers Sony to read PDF files natively, the Kindle needs to have them made (but I am told this is a simple and painless process). None of the e-book readers current are very good with PDFs, because most PDFs are not designed to read such a small screen. The new Sony-is part of the PDF to the screen, which is ~ 3.5×4.5 ", so letter size PDF are very, very small. It also has a way of" flushing "the provision, so the text is larger, and the original formatting is gone (no matter with novels, but can be annoying with the magazines), but works better with some PDF documents that others — it depends on how well they did in the first place. I like my Sony because it's easy for me to put PDFs on it, and there is free software that removes the white borders so it fits better in small electronic book reader. I do not want to have to email them to Amazon and either pay to download them, or have to wait for an email manually reposition them on the Kindle. (However, some people do not mind at all.)
