The 02 XDA Atom Life is a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 phone with GPRS and EDGE capabilities. High functionality Wi-Fi makes it an excellent device for checking your e-mail on the go. And to complete the package, it is Microsoft ActiveSync to connect it to your PC.The Atom Life Atom Life is powered by an Xscale PXA 270 IRTE clocked at mind-blowing 624 MHz. We were impressed by the capabilities of this processor, which was able to perform multiple tasks and run applications without cumbersome am hiccups. It has 64 MB of RAM and 1GB of internal flash memory. A miniSD card slot to expand memory is located on top of the phone.
Camera
The camera takes 2 megapixel photos with decent resolutions ranging from 80×60 to 1600×1200. An LED strobe flash and a self-portrait mirror are also built in.
Shaping the Masterpiece
At first glance, the Atom Life looks like any other model of 02, but look closely and you'll see some subtle differences. The device shiny black plastic screen is the call system shell speaker, which also lights green-houses for the waking state, red for charging and blue to show that Bluetooth is activated. Controls volume is left, and the camera and record buttons are on the right. Front panel buttons include call accept and reject cookies, two soft keys Media Player shortcut.
Atom Life weighs 145 grams which is light enough for a PDA. Its shape makes it a slick real style statement.
