A navigation device commonly called a global positioning system is used to monitor places, either where you are currently and where you want to go. Now, the latest GPS to hit the market is the Garmin C330 manufactured by Garmin and commonly called the Pilot Street. As the common name suggests, this device is as good as the navigation system of a pilot, except that this can be used by a person driving a car.
What differentiates c330 apart from other GPS devices is the City Navigator software that comes preloaded with all the necessary maps and routes for any destination of your choice. It has an intuitive touch screen that is visible in strong sunlight and large screen color display, it is very easy on the eyes. It provides automatic route calculation to any destination you have in mind. While the maps can be zoomed in or out, the device uses an algorithm to effectively adapt to the speed of your PDA or laptop which prevents any irritation slowing down when it is used.
Now, the device looks good, with one designed to simplicity and no additional buttons that complicated, with a color screen 3.5 inches diagonally, it weighs just over 9 ounces, highly portable and easily kept in the car with the windshield lever activated suction cup. He received a backlit display and an odometer which is very convenient because it can determine how far one has traveled to 1/100th of a mile. The touch screen interface is very easy to use and provides route planning as well as re-routing options.
It can be connected to any other electronic device with a cable USB. Its rechargeable lithium battery provides up to 4 hours of battery life and it is not heated either. There is also a connector external to better signal reception. The navigation features are really simple and direct, all maps are pre-installed and other maps of the entire Cities can be loaded and stored with its SD card slot.
Your choice of points of interest can be marked on the device such as restaurants, cinemas, petrol stations and everything you could possibly want to know. Finding your way has never been so easy. Garmin has always provided quality equipment for navigation, they have succeeded again with their C330.
